Touch update

On Friday 10 February, the 10A Touch team had the opportunity to participate in a specialised Touch clinic. This was a great way for all the girls to refine and develop our skills in preparation for the upcoming season. With the help of BGGS Head Coach, Mr Craig Morrow, and our Team Coach, Ms Claire Saggers, we perfected our line defence and worked on attack moves such as roosters. It was a valuable and enjoyable session which helped the team reconnect and bond. Finally, we would like to thank Mrs Nisbett, and all the other coaches who made the afternoon possible.

The 9A Touch team was also given the opportunity to attend the Touch clinic. After warming up, we focused on line defence, attacking techniques and accurate passing. This taught us new skills and improved our playing style. Over the last few weeks of training, our team has formed a strong bond that has helped us succeed together. A highlight for many from the clinic was the pizza at the end of the session. We can’t wait for the 2023 Touch season to begin, and we are especially looking forward to strengthening our relationship as a team, competing against other schools, and celebrating wins together.
