As this year’s Touch Captains, we welcome everyone to the 2019 Touch season. Congratulations to the girls who were selected in the Touch squad and thank you to everyone who trialled. Unfortunately, all Round 1 games were cancelled last week due to wet weather, but we look forward to seeing the Girls Grammar spirit on display this Friday as we compete against St Hilda’s School.
Touch is a team sport, and thus we want girls to reflect the attitude of a team player, both on and off the field. This is an extremely important aspect of the game and we encourage girls to recognise this and be proud of their efforts.
Having played for many years, our favourite experience is when the game isn’t easy, but challenges your own and the team’s abilities. We encourage girls to embrace these challenges to help improve and develop their skills.
