On Saturday 4 June, the BGGS Instrumental Music Department presented the annual Cathedral Concert at St John’s Anglican Church. The afternoon concert was an exhilarating exhibition of refined music-making. It was incredibly rewarding to see and hear the hard work of the students and staff over the term come to fruition in the delightful acoustics of the cathedral.
The concert featured some of our most experienced musicians and ensembles, and this year also featured guests Andrej Kouznetsov on Organ and Karin Schaupp on Guitar. The students from Chamber Strings, Symphonic Winds, Chorale, Chamber Singers, Symphony Orchestra, and Grammar Singers took the audience on the most glorious musical escape for more than one and a half hours.
