The BGGS Enrolments Team is delighted to share School news and events with you via the Enrolments Newsletter published twice yearly. We hope it offers another way for you to learn more about opportunities available to your daughter at Girls Grammar.
We understand that the stages of enrolment can, at times, seem confusing, as all schools differ in their processes. The BGGS Enrolments Team endeavours to make the process as simple and clear as possible, and is always available to help guide you through each step. The following information outlines details for families with daughters due to commence Year 7 between 2022 and 2025.
Next Steps
Year 7 2022 families
Orientation interviews for families who have confirmed their daughter’s enrolment for 2022 are mostly complete. Parents who have confirmed their daughter’s enrolment will receive an email mid-year inviting them to view the Future Students page on the School’s website. This webpage will provide important pre-commencement information and the opportunity for early sign-on to some co-curricular activities.
Families have now received their invitation to Open Day to be held on Friday 30 July. If you haven’t visited a BGGS Open Day, it is highly recommended, as it will give you the opportunity to experience the enthusiasm and spirit of the School. A special orientation activity will be planned for the incoming Year 7 2022 students.
Uniform Fittings will commence in August and information regarding these fittings will be sent out shortly. This information will also be displayed on the Future Students page, together will details on our BYOD Program and information regarding the purchase of a device for your daughter.
As previously communicated, this year the School will host a Parent and Daughter Dinner for Year 7 2022 families on Thursday 9 September. Your invitation to this event will be sent in late July.
House Afternoon Teas for incoming Year 7 students will be held in October (Term 4). This event allows girls to meet and connect with other girls in their House, and we look forward to sending out more information about House Afternoon Teas via the Future Students page.

Year 7 2023 families
For families with a confirmed place for Year 7 2023, there will be an opportunity to come and tour the School during the month of October in preparation for the next stage of your enrolment journey. During Term 4, you will receive correspondence outlining planned activities and dates for your daughter’s orientation year (2022). Advance Fees for 2023 will be due during Term 1 2022, and this payment is credited towards the first term’s tuition fees.
If your daughter is on the waitlist for 2023, further offers are likely to be issued closer to entry. Please do not hesitate to call the Enrolments Team if you wish to check on the progress of her application.
Year 7 2024 families
The first round of offers for Year 7 2024 were sent during Term 1 2021. We expect to send additional offers for this cohort later in the year. Please do not hesitate to contact the Enrolments Team to check the status of your daughter’s application.
Year 7 2025 families
The first round of offers for 2025 will be issued in early 2022, following a Parent Information Evening for all families who have applied for entry into Year 7 2025. In September this year, there will be an opportunity for all families with a 2025 application to tour the School. Further details on this event, as well as the offer process will be sent to families in Term 3.
