The BGGS Enrolments team is delighted to share School news and events with you via the Enrolments Newsletter published twice yearly. We hope it offers another way for you to learn more about opportunities available to your daughter at Girls Grammar.
We understand that the stages of enrolment can, at times, seem confusing, as all schools differ in their processes. The BGGS Enrolments team endeavours to make the process as simple and clear as possible, and is always available to help guide you through each step. Please do not hesitate to contact the Enrolments team for further information about the enrolment process or to enquire about the progress of your daughter’s application. The Enrolment office will be staffed during the school holiday break with the exception of the Christmas shut down period from Friday 24 December to Monday 3 January.
The following information outlines details for families with daughters due to commence Year 7 between 2022 and 2025.
Next Steps
Year 7 2022 families
The Enrolment staff have enjoyed liaising with all incoming families for Year 7 2022 and take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and safe holiday period. We are very excited to be welcoming your daughters on their first day at Girls Grammar on 24 January 2022.
If your daughter is on the waitlist for Year 7 next year, the Enrolment staff will be in contact in the new year to discuss the options available for her application.
Year 7 2023 families
For families with a confirmed place for Year 7 2023, you should have recently received correspondence outlining activities and dates for your daughter’s orientation year (2022), as well as a request for her most recent school reports to assist Academic Staff with their planning. Advance Fee payments will be due on 4 March 2022, and this payment will be credited towards your first term’s fees. We look forward to your daughter’s orientation year next year.
If your daughter is on the waitlist for 2023, further places may be offered closer to entry. Please do not hesitate to call the Enrolments team if you wish to check on the progress of her application or to ensure your contact details are up to date.
Year 7 2024 families
The offer process for Year 7 2024 began in February this year and currently this cohort is at capacity, however further places may be offered during 2022. Offers are made in date order of submission of application. Please do not hesitate to contact the Enrolments team to check the status of your daughter’s application.
Year 7 2025 families
All families with an application for Year 7 2025 will be invited to a Parent Information Evening on Wednesday 23 February 2022. This is a parent-only event which will allow families to hear from the Principal and Senior Academic staff. Families will also be given the opportunity to tour the School that evening. The School will commence the formal offer process for Year 7 2025 shortly after the Information Evening. We look forward to making contact with your family again early in the new year.
