Illumine Podcast—Ms Julie McKay on International Women’s Day

In honour of International Women’s Day 2021, Principal, Ms Jacinda Euler, spoke with Chair of the Board of Trustees, Ms Julie McKay (2000), about women in leadership, and acceleration of equality, in the latest Illumine podcast.

Julie’s career has been defined by the issue of women’s equality. At age 23, Julie was appointed the Executive Director of UN Women Australia, working in that role for nine years to identify the barriers to gender equality and challenging the laws, policies and attitudes that perpetuate inequality across government, the private sector and the community. Until recently, Julie served as the inaugural Gender Advisor to the Chief of the Australian Defence Force, and she currently works as Chief Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Officer at PWC.
