Co-curricular Service and Charity Group Information

Girls Grammar Service and Charity Groups meet during lunch and provide students with the opportunity to understand and learn about the diverse lives of others in our society. These groups provide a forum to raise awareness for particular organisations and causes, and how students might give back to their community. Meetings are often student-led as girls share information, engage with guest presenters and plan awareness raising activities, thus providing valuable leadership opportunities for group members.

Information about each Service Group can be found in the Co-curricular Handbook on Moodle and meeting times are advertised in Daily Notices, Moodle and the Service Noticeboard located outside the Barbara Fielding Room (BFR). New members are welcome to join Service Groups now and throughout the year.

The Girls Grammar Service and Interest Group Expo will be held on Wednesday 27 February 2019 on Level 4, Cherrell Hirst Creative Learning Centre (CLC). This will be an opportunity for students to seek information about the groups on offer and to sign-up.

For further information about service activities, please contact Director of Service, Mrs Lynne Mungomery.
