This week, students at Girls Grammar celebrated the Chinese New Year. As part of the festivities, girls learning Chinese received a red envelope, a Chinese New Year tradition, symbolising good luck and prosperity.
The China Club met at Monday lunchtime to create traditional arts and craft and learned about how Chinese communities celebrate the New Year.
The School’s Chinese lion also made an appearance during lunchtime at the Main Campus. Happy Chinese New Year of the Pig.
