The video performances of our nine finalists from last week’s Instrumental and Vocal Competitions were shared with the School’s Artists in Concert adjudicators, Professor Liam Viney, Head of the School of Music at The University of Queensland (UQ), and Dr Shaun Brown, Voice Performance Fellow at UQ, to select the winner of the 2020 R.T. and A.E. Jefferies Bursary.
We are delighted to announce the winner of this year’s R.T. and A.E. Jefferies Bursary is Abigail Chadirchi (11L) (Percussion).
The adjudicators were extremely impressed with the demonstration of exceptional musicianship and artistry from all finalists. Congratulations to all students involved in the finals and special mention to our Bursary winner, Abigail. Please enjoy Abigail’s incredible performance in the video below.
